The Riccardi’s Talk (& Sing!) about the Cole Porter Songbook Cabaret, September 9-18, 2011

I recently visited Sandy and Richard Riccardi at home with their cat Sasha (who makes a guest appearance in the video) to talk about their new show at the 6th Street Playhouse, The Cole Porter Songbook. The cabaret, which has been subtitled “Let’s Do It: A De-Lovely Cole Porter Revue”,  features Sandy’s fabulous talents as a vocalist, along with Taylor Bartolucci, Daniela Innocenti Beem, Kelsey Byrne, and Anthony Martinez, who graced the stage in the Playhouse’s Kiss Me, Kate production this Fall. Richard will accompany the singers on the Steinway grand piano. The show kicks off a series of three cabarets offered at the 6th Street Playhouse this year, conceived by Paul Gilger in collaboration with Artistic Director Craig Miller.  – Bridget Palmer
